What we collect
When you sign up, we collect your name, email, optional target role and learning path, and any resume you choose to upload. When you pay, our payments processor (Stripe) collects the card data directly — AfterKarma never sees or stores your card number.
How we use it
Account data is used to deliver the service: mentor matching, interview prep, mock interviews, resume review, and platform notifications. We do not sell your data, ever, to anyone.
Who has access
Only AfterKarma staff and the mentor assigned to you can view your account details. Resumes you upload are stored privately and accessible only by you, your mentor, and our admin team.
Sub-processors
We rely on Stripe (payments), Supabase / Lovable Cloud (database + auth + storage), and a transactional email provider for service emails. Each handles the minimum data needed to do their job.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account at any time from Account Settings, or by emailing contactus@afterkarma.com.
Privacy settings
You can manage marketing email preferences from your account page after signing in. To unsubscribe from a specific email, use the unsubscribe link in the footer of that message.
